All engineering and design work is done in-house by the Forgelite Wheels team in Delta, BC head office. We specify the materials, engineering requirements, machining processes, finishes, and QC standards for every wheel.
Our Performance Build wheels are manufactured with our long-term overseas manufacturing partners. We do not drop ship, rebrand catalog designs, or select from a factory marketplace. Each wheel is produced to Forgelite specifications for the intended vehicle and application. Through extensive on-site visits with our manufacturing partners and the establishment of a dedicated quality-control facility in China, we have developed a production and inspection process built around consistency, precision and accountability. Completed wheels must pass Forgelite's inspection before they are approved for shipment.
We only use first-grade (not recycled) aerospace 6061-T6 closed-die forged aluminum forgings and AZ80 Magnesium forgings for our wheels. We import Made in USA Prismatic Powder to deliver consistent, vibrant and durable wheel finishes. Not all forged wheels made overseas are created equal. Where a wheel is manufactured is only one part of the equation. The engineering behind it, the materials specified, the manufacturing controls, the inspection process, the fitment responsibility, and the company standing behind the finished product are what ultimately determine its quality.
