The 2020 McLaren 720S Spider is powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine producing 710 horsepower and 568 lb-ft of torque. Paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, it accelerates from 0-60 mph in 2.8 seconds and reaches a top speed of 212 mph. The retractable hardtop adds minimal weight while maintaining structural rigidity, making the 720S Spider a rare blend of open-air driving and track-focused performance.
