Try shopping for forged wheels for a Durango Hellcat.
There are thousands of options for a 911 and about as many for an M car. For a three row SUV with 710 horsepower and a 5x127 bolt pattern, the list gets short very quickly, and most of what's left is cast, heavy, and designed for something that tows a boat. That's the problem this owner came to us with, and it's the reason custom forged exists.
The setup is our FL1 Monoblock, 20x10 front and rear, 5x127 with a 71.6 hub bore, finished in Gloss Triple Bronze. The car runs factory SRT steel brakes, so clearance was speced around those rather than around a big brake kit.
The square fitment is the part worth understanding if you're shopping for your own set. Most people default to staggered because that's what performance cars do. On an all wheel drive SUV making this much power, running the same 20x10 at all four corners means you can actually rotate the tires, and a Durango Hellcat goes through tires quickly enough that this matters in dollars, not theory. It also puts the same contact patch at every corner on a vehicle that sends power to all four of them.
Practical reasons, not styling ones. The fact that it fills the arches properly is a bonus.
Gloss Triple Bronze is what turns it from a wheel upgrade into a finished build. Against paint this dark, bronze does something brighter finishes can't. It reads as warm metal rather than as a contrasting colour, so the wheel becomes part of the car instead of a component bolted to it. Then you look through the window at the orange SRT Hellcat leather and the whole thing clicks. The bronze was never picked in isolation. It was picked to answer something already inside the car.
Monoblock construction matters here too. One piece, no barrel hardware, nothing to reseal, on a vehicle that gets driven through real winters in Alberta and washed in a driveway rather than fussed over in a heated garage.
The part we like most is the process. Watching a wheel go from a render, to something being built on the floor here, to the day it's finally under the car. You don't get that buying off a shelf.
